The Plant Room by Harvest London

We’re thrilled to announce the opening of The Plant Room, our new vertical farm inside Corner Corner, a vibrant multi-use space at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre. The doors officially opened in April 2025, and this project is already bringing sustainable farming into the heart of the city.

Every year The Plant Room will produce 20 to 30 tonnes of fresh, pesticide-free greens and herbs, supplying restaurants, grocers, and partners across London. Because the farm is housed in a fully glazed enclosure, everyone passing by can see inside, watch seedlings grow, see our systems at work, and understand how urban farming really functions.

This transparency is central to our mission: not only to grow good food, but to grow understanding of how cities can feed themselves more sustainably. We believe people should see and learn how their food is made, and The Plant Room brings that into public view.

We’re proud this site sits at the intersection of innovation, community, and everyday life — a farm you can see, right where people live, shop, and gather.
